How Our Process Works
1. COMPLIMENTARY PERSONALIZED CONSULTATION
Visit our Chicagoland showroom and browse through hundreds of our invitation examples that we designed for other happy couples. Or bring along your inspiration—photos of your dress, the venue, color swatches, or anything related to your big day. Our in-store consultant will talk through the customization process, the options and discuss your theme, timeline, budget, and order size. We will completely customize the invitation so it reflects your style. Once you’re ready to proceed, a deposit of $125 will be applied to your order.
2. INITIAL PROOF
Using your style preferences and ideas we will begin work on creating your custom dream wedding invitation. We’ll put together a hard-copy printed press proof in just a few days for you to take home and review. This will be a real invitation — printed with your information in your colors on the paper you chose, cut to size and placed inside the pocket or wrapped in a belly band if that is part of your wedding invitation. See it, feel it, and decide if you want any revisions made.
After you have reviewed your initial proof, you can email your feedback, call or stop in to go over any changes. We will then prepare another proof and finalize the text, wording, and quantity of your wedding invitations.
4. FINAL INVITATIONS
Usually within two weeks of confirming the final proof, your custom printed wedding invitations will be ready for pick up in our Chicagoland showroom or for shipping to you. All that is left for you to do is assemble and mail them. Or if you prefer, we can assemble your wedding invitations for a nominal fee. This will add a few extra days to your pickup time.
